2023 Playford Trust Scholarship recipients

Twenty-nine ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide students have received scholarships from the Playford Memorial Trust. The Playford Memorial Trust supports high-achieving South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n students working in areas of strategic importance to the State.

UniForum benchmarking study
The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ is participating in a benchmarking study of professional staff and support services to provide insight into activities and services that support teaching and research. Staff identified as respondents will have received an email from UniForum with details. Data collection runs from Tuesday 2 to Tuesday 16 May. Resources will be available for respondents throughout, including a 30-minute online Kick-Off Workshop refresh tomorrow at 9.30am – .
Council News

Education in a Digital World strategy
Staff and students are invited to view the Executive summary of the Education in a Digital World strategy which outlines a learning ambition and a platform for transforming learning. Look out for opportunities to have input in the future. .
Election of academic staff to Academic Board
Nominations for the election of three professors and three academic staff (levels A-D) to Academic Board opened on Wednesday 26 April. Eligible staff will receive an email from ‘BigPulse’ which will contain a link to the online nomination form. Nomination forms must be completed before 12 pm on Monday 8 May.

Barr Smith Library reading room repainting
The Barr Smith Library reading room is currently closed while the ceiling receives a specialist clean and the walls and columns are repainted. It is expected to re-open in early June.
