Vice-Chancellor's message

The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ is working towards a sustainable future and has ambitions to deliver positive and sustainable change for good. The previous Campus Sustainability Plan has been recognised at a State and National level and has provided the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ with a foundation for delivering low-carbon campus operations. But like most – we must do much more.

Student News connects the wider student cohort with professional and academic staff. We educate, inspire, and inform our students, encouraging them to take up opportunities, seek out services, and attend events. Around 45-50% of students are engaging with Student News each fortnight via email and the website. Submissions welcome.
Old Unibar Closure - Union House
The Old Unibar on level 5 of Union House will be closed for the next 12 months as part of the rejuvenation of this heritage-listed venue. New facilities will be coming online in mid-late 2024.
National Volunteer Week
Monday 15 May marks the start of , which provides a great opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the 2500 ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ volunteers who gave over 60,000 hours of their time in 2022. Thank you to all of those who generously donate their time and skills for the benefit of the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥. Our community is richer for their contribution.
Prestigious Scholarships webinar
Academic staff are encouraged to share the Prestigious Scholarships opportunities available with potential applicants. A  providing further information for students will be held on Tuesday 30 May, 10 am to 12.30 pm. More information about the scholarships can be found on the website.

Mental Health First Aid Training Semester 2
MHFA training dates are now available for semester two. This free, two day workshop is available to staff who are interested in further developing their skills in providing initial support to people who are experiencing mental health difficulties.
