Host families wanted
The English Language Centre is seeking staff members who would like to host a Chinese or Japanese student during our July and August study periods. Hosting a student is a rewarding experience and families are reimbursed $310 per week to assist with expenses. Contact homestay@adelaide.edu.au for more information.
ADEPT: Authentic and Flexible Assessment
This session will focus on the challenges of designing authentic assessment tasks which contribute to reducing academic integrity breaches. You will explore the role that flexible assessment tasks can play in student engagement and success. Thursday 10 August, 12-2 pm. .
Longitudinal Trials with REDCap workshop
This workshop is for researchers who are familiar with the basics of REDCap and need to learn more advanced features for running longitudinal studies. It will cover topics like managing multiple events, using smart variables and building a longitudinal project. Wednesday July 26, 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. .

Research data management consultation
The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ Library is seeking user input via an on tools supporting research data management (Figshare, Research Data Planner), and information on research practices to improve offerings in that area. Input must be submitted by Friday 28 July and will inform updates to the Library’s online content, tools and support materials.Â

ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ enters top 100 in QS worldwide rankings

The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide continues to be recognised as one of the world’s top universities, with the release of the 2024 QS World ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ Rankings. The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ has been ranked 89th in the world, moving up 20 places from its position at 109 last year.

Student Experience Survey

The 2022 Student Experience Survey national results are in, and the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ has improved in all focus areas, with students' rating of the overall experience up from 74.3% in 2021 to 77.6% in 2022.Â
Access changes to Library Level 2 North
Level 2 North of the Barr Smith Library is closed for the next stage of renovations which includes recarpeting, new paintwork, increasing natural light, and new study spaces. 000-399 Main Collection is still available via Library Search.
Curatorial and Museum Studies postgraduate programs review
The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ is undertaking a review of the postgraduate programs in Curatorial and Museum Studies. Education Quality invites staff to make a confidential submission on matters relevant to the Terms of Reference.
