Executive Dean's message

An aspiration to be the beating heart of Adelaide is part of our university’s strategic plan and there are many ways that we contribute to the vibrant life of the city. The crowds of people and families enjoying the Illuminate Festival installations on our North Terrace campus during the past couple of weeks is evidence of this.
Open Day bump-in
With Open Day bump-in betweenÌýFriday 1 and Friday 18 August there will be increased noise and activity around the North Terrace campus. Most activity will take place around the Benham, Mawson, Braggs and Molecular Sciences buildings.

Open Day volunteers wanted

Volunteers are required to assist with Open Day on Sunday 13 August. Roles available across the North Terrace campus and the AHMS Building include volunteering in the welcome tent, Maths Lawns Marquee, Q&A sessions and tours.ÌýRead more.
Celebrating our colleagues: Belinda Fordham

Belinda was recognised with a Staff Award in 2022 as a team member for development of the ‘Welcome back festival’, an innovative and engaging program to welcome international students back to campus after the Covid border closures, and support them in their transition to life and study in Adelaide.Ìý

Academic staff participation in postgrad masterclasses
Academic staff are invited to share their knowledge and expertise through an upcoming masterclass series, aimed at prospective postgraduate students. The sessions provide the chance to inspire and motivate potential students, encouraging them to take the next step in their career through postgraduate study at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥.ÌýMore information.

2023 Pocket Statistics publication
The 2023 Pocket Statistics publication is now available. Produced every year as a companion document to the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s Annual Report, it provides a handy three year time series of student, staff, research and finance statistics for the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide, based on ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Government statutory data collections. Consultation on Flexible Work Arrangement Procedure
Human Resources has undertaken a review of the Working From Home Guidelines and the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s flexible work approach. A staff consultation period to provide feedback on the proposed Flexible Work Arrangement Procedure is now open.ÌýView and comment on the draftÌýhere until COB Friday 4 August 2023.
