SPIE Society Director
±Ê°ù´Ç´Ú±ð²õ²õ´Ç°ùÌý (School of Biological Sciences) has been elected to the Board of Directors at SPIE, the International Society for Optics and Photonics, serving for a three year term. .
2024 Measurement Awards
Ìý²¹²Ô»å  have each received 2024 Measurement Awards. ±Ê°ù´Ç´Ú±ð²õ²õ´Ç°ùÌýWithayachumnankulÌý°ù±ð³¦±ð¾±±¹±ð»åÌýthe Barry Inglis Medal for his work supporting the development of terahertz communications and material characterisation applications. Dr Pei Lay Yap received the Measurement Achievement Encouragement Award for her work in the standardisation of graphene characterisation.Ìý.
Future Fellows

The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Research Council has awarded three ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide academics more than $3 million funding, as part of the 2024 Future Fellowships scheme.Ìý (School of Social Sciences) was awarded $1,130,337,Ìý (Robinson Research Institute) was awarded $1,061,521 and  (School of Biological Sciences) was awarded $1,061,015.Ìý

Humanities Travelling Fellowships
has received one of ten awarded by the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Academy of the Humanities. The fellowship enables early career researchers to undertake research overseas, where they may access materials otherwise inaccessible, connect with international organisations, researchers and forge new networks. .
Digital FUTURES Award / the Matthias Rippmann Memorial Prize

 (Head of School of Architecture and Civil Engineering) was awarded the Digital FUTURES Award / the Matthias Rippmann Memorial Prize 2024.ÌýThe award is in recognition of Professor’s Burry exceptional contributions in advancing digital architecture discourse and community through education and research.

South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ 40 under 40 and Discovery Award

Professor Zachary Munn, Director of Health Evidence Synthesis, Recommendations and Impact (HESRI) in the School of Public Health was recently announced as one of South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥'s 40 under 40. He was also one of the individual award winners on the night, receiving the CMAX Discovery Award. This award recognises an innovative leader in a life sciences enterprise whose business activities have high impact potential for future health outcomes.

Wellbeing grants program winners
The student wellbeing team is proud to announce the 25 recipients of the 2024 Wellbeing Grants Program. The program offered grants up to $1,000 for staff and student groups to provide important wellbeing services, supports and opportunities to students at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥. 2024 Joint Seed Funding Program recipients
Global Engagement is pleased to announce that $28,000 in funding has been awarded to two initiatives through the 2024 ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide (UoA) and Shandong ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ (SDU) Joint Seed Funding Program. The successful initiatives aim to encourage and develop high-quality research and education collaboration between UoA and SDU. More information.Ìý
