Premier's Award: Healthcare for future generations

The winning Premier's Award saw collaboration between the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide, UniSA, Lyell McEwen Hospital and Northern Adelaide State Secondary Schools Alliance in a Year 12 Integrated Learning Nursing and Midwifery Pilot Project, where nursing and midwifery sessions were provided to students interested in healthcare thereby attracting a future workforce. .Ìý

Fellow of the US National Academy of Inventors

Leading soil scientist feted with fellowship

Ìý(School of Agriculture, Food and Wine) has been elected as a Fellow of the US National Academy of Inventors (NAI).ÌýHe is the fourth ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide expert to be honoured by the NAI as a Fellow, joining Professor Peter Høj AC, Professor Anton Middelberg, and Professor Nelson Tansu.

ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ India Women Researchers’ Exchange Program

Ìý(School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences) has been awarded a fellowship as part of the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ India Women Researchers’ Exchange (AIWE) Program. Dr Bala will collaborate with Dr B R Ambedkar (National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar) to develop an advanced model to optimise urban rainwater harvesting systems. This partnership aims to enhance sustainable water management through innovative research.Ìý

International recognition for Highly Cited Researchers

More than 20 ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide researchers have been recognised for their outstanding work in the Clarivate annual global list of Highly Cited Researchers (HCR).ÌýThe HCR list is primarily based on citation activity, with successful academics authoring multiple highly cited papers which rank in the top 1 per cent by references for their fields. Chris Powell Medal

(School of Physics, Chemistry and Earth Sciences) was awarded the Ìýby the Geological Society of ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ (Tectonics and Structural Geology Group). The medal is awarded every two years for anÌýoutstanding research paper arising from postgraduate research on some aspect of structural geology or tectonics.
