Playford Trust Scholarships
With a total of 45 scholarships available, ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide students scored 27 of them and laid claim to five out of six Commendation Awards. Playford Trust scholarships and awards aim to help students make the most of their studies, achieve their potential and contribute to South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s knowledge, skills and research base.
Professor Helen Marshall AM awarded NHMRC Elizabeth Blackburn Investigator Grant Award

Professor Marshall AM was awarded the 2024 NHMRC Elizabeth Blackburn Investigator Grant Award (Leadership in Public Health Research) at the NHMRC Research Excellence Awards dinner in Canberra on 26 March.
ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Institute of Physics honorary fellows
and  (School of Physics, Chemistry and Earth Sciences) have been announced as honorary fellows in the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Institute of Physics. .

Cancer Council SA Research Fellows
(School of Biomedicine) and have been named Cancer Council SA Research Fellows for 2025. Dr Noll works in the Myeloma Research Laboratory based in the Precision Cancer Medicine Theme at the South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), and Dr Thompson-Peach is based in the Myeloid Metabolism Laboratory, also at SAMHRI.  (Adelaide Law School) has been appointed to the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Law Reform Commission as full-time Commissioner to lead the inquiry into ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s human tissue laws. .
English Language Centre ranked number one in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥
The English Language Centre has been ranked the top English language provider in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ in the i-Graduate English Language Barometer for ELICOS providers 2024. Additionally, 97% of students taking an ELC course said they would recommend it to others.

2024 ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Awards for ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ Teaching
 (School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences) received an AAUT Award for Teaching Excellence and  (School of Humanities) received an AAUT Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning.

2025 ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide International Fellows announced
10 globally recognised researchers have been selected as the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥'s 2025 International Fellows, with visits commencing in the coming months. Work is underway to design a visiting scholars program for Adelaide ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, with details to be announced late 2025. Meet the Fellows

Sony Women in Technology Award with Nature

 (School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing), is the only person in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ and one of only four women innovators worldwide to be recognised in the inaugural Sony Women in Technology Award with Nature. Read more.
