Workplace Monitoring Procedure

The updated Workplace Monitoring Procedure has been endorsed and is available online. The update incorporates responsibilities for the workplace inspection process required of the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ under an Enforceable Undertaking. Supervisors of areas with inherent high risks will be prompted progressively by HSW to undertake this scheduled process.

Student Critical Incidents Response Policy and Procedure

The revised Student Critical Incidents Response Policy and Procedure was approved by the Vice-Chancellor and President on 21 December 2022, effective from 1 January 2023. This policy informs students and staff of the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥'s approach to Student Critical Incident response and how the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ supports students in the event of a Critical Incident.

Teaching Review Program

Round 1 applications are now open for the Teaching Review Program (TRP). The TRP has been designed to provide evidence in support of staff applications for individual ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ teaching awards, academic promotion, or conversion to education specialist appointments. Complete and submit the online form by Friday 3 February. Further information.

Emerging Artist of the Year Award

Pianist Shawn Hui, current Bachelor of Music (Honours) student at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, was awarded the Emerging Artist of the Year Award at the 2022 Adelaide Critics Circle Awards. Shawn has performed widely as a Recitals ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ Fellowship Artist in 2022.

Staff Complaint Resolution Procedure

The Staff Complaint Resolution Procedure has been reviewed and updated in line with the Sexual Misconduct Policy and Response Procedure that came into effect 30 November. Carving out sexual misconduct from the staff complaint resolution procedure, confirms the Integrity Unit as a reporting pathway for staff complaints, and includes updated links and reference information.

Call for submissions

The is seeking submissions of short fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction of up to 3,000 words on the theme of ‘Intersections’. The journal is affiliated with the JM Coetzee Centre for Creative Practice. This project is funded by Arts SA and contributors will be paid for their work. Deadline is 20 January 2023. .
