Abandoned bikes bring hope
Ever wondered what happens to the abandoned bikes around campus? They get tagged and the owners have two months to remove the bikes before they’re removed by Security. Once a year about 40 bikes are donated to , who collect unwanted goods like bicycles, office equipment and school supplies that are then sent to partners in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Once they have arrived, they are then distributed to people who could not otherwise afford them.
