Extension of consultation - Management of Psychosocial Risk
In response to the introduction of a Code of Practice and amendments to the Work Health & Safety Regulations, the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ has drafted a Management of Psychosocial Risk procedure. This draft procedure is now available for consultation and feedback via the draft policies webpage until Monday 4 March.

Evidencing Your Teaching Effectiveness
Systematically gathering evidence of teaching effectiveness is key to good teaching practice. In this session you will engage with a holistic approach to using a range of robust and valid sources of evidence. On completion of the workshop you will have developed a plan of action for gathering evidence suitable for your context and needs. Thursday 15 February, 10 am to 12 pm. The Academic Workload Allocation Working GroupÌýhas finalised its work to define workload allocation principles and associated expectations. The group thanks those that provided input and feedback. Human Resources have made the document available on theÌýwebsite.
Read and Publish agreements
UofA researchers now have access to 19 Read & Publish Agreements, providing increased opportunities to publish research open access without paying individual article processing charges. New for 2024 are agreements with APA, ACM, John Benjamins and Taylor & Francis. Further details on title inclusions and caps on the Library webpages.

Researcher Survey: Access to Public Sector Data
The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Research Data Commons is seeking input to an online survey to measure researcher access to ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n public sector data to measure gap between demand and supply. The anonymous survey will take around 10 - 15 minutes and closes on Wednesday 28 February. Findings published in mid-2024. .
