Celebrating the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander graduates

Fourteen First Nations students will graduate from the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide this semester, and their accomplishments were celebrated at a special event hosted by Wirltu Yarlu, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Unit at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥. Read more.

I’ve always been fascinated with science and especially how the human body works. My mum trained to be a nurse, so in primary school when everyone was reading Winnie the Pooh books, I was instead flipping through her Grey’s Anatomy textbook!ÌýÌý

In 2018 I moved from upstate New York to ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ for a six-month internship. That then led to a Master of Education degree here at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide, and six months has ballooned to six years! My Master’s degree in education specialised in educational wellbeing. What I found is that wellbeing is multi-faceted, with no single definition applying to each individual. Rather, it includes a diverse range of mental, emotional, and physical components.
