The Gatehouse

The heritage-listed Gatehouse is a unique venue for board meetings, small gatherings and standing events.

Features

  • Room G04 (capacity 6) is available to hire and suitable for meetings.
    • High resolution presentation screen, VGA/HDMI input and audio jack.
  • Room G08 (capacity 24) is available to hire and suitable for meetings, workshops and small standing events.
    • Flexible floor plan with wheeled tables and chairs, high resolution presentation screen, VGA/HDMI input and audio jack.
    • Adjacent the paved veranda and a kitchenette, which can both be used when the room is hired.
  • Male, female and accessible toilets.
  • Adjacent the Urrbrae House Rose Garden.
  • Gatehouse floor plan.

Conditions

  • If G08 is booked for a confidential meeting, G04 must be booked as well.
  • Kitchenette, toilets and entrance doors may be used by office staff during business hours.
  • Ensure all three glass doors in G08 are locked any time the building is empty, including at the end of your event.

Location

  • Access via Claremont Avenue, or the Urrbrae House Gardens.
  • The entrance is on the eastern (Urrbrae House) side of the building with a swipe card access. Visitors should call Waite Security on 8313 7200 to unlock remotely.
  • F1 on the Waite campus map.
  • One disability access carpark, one standard carpark on site. All day parking on Claremont Avenue.
