About Us

The role of the Infrastructure Branch is to ensure the campuses and physical facilities of the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ continue to develop, adapt and improve in a complex, competitive and changing higher education environment.

The Branch provides technical expertise, planning and services to support staff and students on the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s three main campuses. The Branch also manages the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s significant property portfolio (leased and owned) of approximately 516,521m2Ìýacross more than 500 buildings.

Capital Projects & Facilities Management

We are responsible for the procurement of a wide variety of projects ranging from multi-million dollar major constructions to small redevelopment and refurbishment works. Capital Projects & Facilities Management manage construction projects from inception through to completion, with the provision of services.

Estate Planning & Investment

We areÌýresponsible for leading the development of the strategic approach to the management, planning and investment in the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s extensive and diverse property portfolio.

Infrastructure Strategy & Support Services

We are responsible for leading and managing business analysis and process improvement for the Infrastructure Branch including managing the facilities management systems strategy, communications and relationship management with faculties, divisions and external parties, and governance and reporting.

The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide’s Facilities Investment Plan 2019 – 2028 (The Plan) guides the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ in its investment approach to address future facility and infrastructure requirements.

The Public Realm Strategy underpinsÌýthe creation of a reinvigorated, welcoming campus that engages students, staff and the wider community.Ìý

The Sustainability Strategy will advance climate change adaptation on campus and guide investment in resource efficiency, low-carbon technologies, renewable energy and waste minimisation activities.

The Learning and Teaching Spaces Transformation Vision 2030 (LTSTV) provides the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide with a roadmap for the coming decade to create the spaces it needs to deliver the engaging, innovative and future-facing educational experience it aspires to for its students.
