Human-Centred Design Bootcamp

This one-day introduction to human-centred design will empower you with practical skills that extend beyond the theoretical realm. Upon completion of this course, participants will be equipped to apply human-centred design thinking to tackle everyday challenges in the workplace.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this bootcamp participants will be able to:
- Use a human-centred approach to solving everyday challenges at work
- Use human-centred design tools and techniques to build better outcomes for those you seek to support
Bootcamp Topics
Each bootcamp will cover:
- Introduction to Design Thinking: overview of the methodology and mindset
- Empathy: choosing the right research tool, and preparing for and conducting interviews
- Research Insights: mining your findings for 鈥渁ha鈥 moments and reframing the original challenge through a human-centred lens
- Ideation: fun ways to channel your creativity and home in on a top idea to take forward
- Prototyping and Testing: turning your ideas into tangible artefacts to gather feedback from users
