As we enter the final weeks of Semester 2, I extend my best wishes to all our students as they submit final assessments and start preparing for exams and to our staff who will be busy marking. This is a crucial time, and I’m confident that everyone’s hard work will shine through!

115th Rhodes Scholar-Elect

Madeleine McNeil was the Valedictorian of her class at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide, graduating with First Class Honours in the Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Philosophy. Madeline is the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥'s 115th Rhodes Scholar-Elect, announced at a ceremony at Government House. Read more.Ìý

Supporting international students with pronunciation of subject-specific vocabulary
Join the English Language Centre in a series of webinars sharing practical tips for academic staff to increase international student engagement.ÌýThe first webinar focuses on strategies to assist international students in overcoming pronunciation difficulties with subject-specific vocabulary. Monday 21 October, 1–2 pm. .
ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n-Japan Innovation Fund grants
The  is now accepting expressions of interest for its 2024-25 research grant program. Grants ranging from $50,000 to $250,000 are available. The EOI process requires minimal paperwork. by Thursday 31 October.
