South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ Young Tall Poppy of the Year

Marine ecologist Ìý(School of Biological Sciences) has been named South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s Young Tall Poppy of the Year.ÌýHer research has involved quantifying the amount of plastic and microplastic found in seafood species globally, analysing the potential effects of plastic on seafood species and fisheries, and working with the seafood industry to help develop solutions to this growing plastic problem. .

September graduations

The September graduation ceremonies will be held between Monday 22 September and Friday 26 September in Bonython Hall. Academic staff are encouraged to register to attend as part of the Academic Procession by Friday 12 September. Staff helpers are also required to assist at the ceremonies and can register here.

AUHC 10,000 steps challenge

The Australasian ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ Health Challenge to walk 10,000 steps a day from 18 August to 28 September 2025 is underway. The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide is once again registered for participants to join individually, with results being tallied up of total steps walked, and also a breakdown of total steps by the number of participants. .Ìý
