Assessment Extensions

Undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students can now apply for assignment extensions using a new online form available on the Examinations and Results . The online form replaces the current PDF form; however, both the online form and PDF can be accepted. Assessment extensions should be assessed in accordance with the Modified Arrangements for Coursework Assessment policy. More information.

Ben Sparrow at TERN

Associate Professor Ben Sparrow was awarded a 2021 ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ Award for exceptional leadership in the ‘A Culture of Impact and Excellence’ category. The selection committee particularly noted Ben’s leadership style in managing a diverse and multi-disciplinary team encouraging them to think as one team, communicating with influence, and actively encouraging his team to attend a workshop on the Staff Values and Behaviour Framework.

Free online sessions for Women's Health Week

Women's Health Week: 4–8 September.Ìý'Grow your knowledge' is this year's theme with topics including information on endometriosis, menopause, nutrition, and early detection screenings. Choose from 9 sessions. All sessions are external and run during the day or evening. More information.

Open Access Policy

The revised Open Access Policy was approved by the Vice-Chancellor and President on 7 August, becoming effective immediately.ÌýInformation for researchers concerning options for publishing their research outputs Open Access can be found here, which includes submission guidelines for the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ Research Repository AR&S.

Commendations for the Enhancement and Innovation of Student Learning

Up to seven Commendations are awarded annually to staff demonstrating outstanding practice in learning and teaching. Learn more about the six application categories, read submissions from former recipients, and access a range of resources to assist with your individual or team application. Applications close Monday 9 October.

New food outlet in the Braggs foyer

Tempeh is a poké bowl food outlet in the Braggs foyer (near the entrance to the MLS building). Tempeh also serve savoury snacks, vegan and gluten free deserts, matcha soft serve, and single origin filter coffee. Open 10.00 am to 3.00 pm.

Host families wanted

The English Language Centre is seeking staff members who can host a student during our January and February periods. Hosting a student is a rewarding experience and families will be reimbursed $360 per week in 2024 to assist with expenses. Contact homestay@adelaide.edu.au. More information.Ìý
