Study reveals Indigenous ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ns at higher risk of HPV throat cancers
    
      Researchers from the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide have found that throat cancers caused by human papilloma virus (HPV), a common sexually transmitted disease, are 15 times more prevalent in Indigenous ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ns than young non-Indigenous ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ns, and five times the prevalence reported in a systematic review involving the US, Brazil, Mexico and Finland.
