Sports Week and the Vice-Chancellor's Cup returns for 2025 with a variety of sports and activities to get involved in. Compete for bragging rights across a week of different sports, looking to become the winner of the Sports Week shield, culminating in the 17th annual Vice Chancellor's Cup 800m relay and being awarded the VC Cup trophy.
Tuesday 21 to Friday 24 October
HyPT-4 will bring together over 70 experts from around the world to compare the relative merits of alternative CO2-free hydrogen technologies. The forum will continue to explore in depth, a range of current and emerging zero carbon emission (CO2-free) hydrogen production technologies.
Thursday 23 October
Former Prime Minister of ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ the Hon Julia Gillard AC will facilitate an informed conversation on how the rapidly changing geopolitical environment and rise of disinformation is impacting ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, our foreign policy, development assistance and our universities, and how these factors might be leveraged for better outcomes.

A delight for lovers of classical guitar, this annual showcase concert features an array of works for solo guitar and small chamber groups, culminating in a performance by the Elder Conservatorium Guitar Ensemble.Ìý

The Whale - The play that made a splash

Annual Professor Alan Reid lecture
Political parties and democracy: The early development of South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s party system the fifth annual Professor Alan Reid lecture will cover South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s political life from 1901 to 1914. In particular, it will examine the gradual shift to a dominant two-party political system and the ongoing battle to expand the franchise for the Legislative Council. These and other issues will be explored through the lives and contributions of some of the leading political characters of the period such as Tom Price, John Verran and Archibald Peake.
