In a landmark study published in , ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n researchers, led by Professor Jose Polo from Monash ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ and the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide and ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Melbourne’s Professor Kanta Subbarao from the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity (Doherty Institute), have revealed how COVID-19 can infect the human placenta.
