Top talent appointment to boost defence research capability

The �Ӱ�ֱ�� of Adelaide has appointed Joanne Wallis as Professor of International Security, as part of its plans to enhance its capability in security related research, and contribute additional expertise to major defence projects in the national interest.

Joanne is a leading academic voice within the �Ӱ�ֱ��n strategic and foreign affairs policy community and the chief investigator on two ARC Discovery Projects, analysing �Ӱ�ֱ��n interventions in the Pacific Islands and the operation of the �Ӱ�ֱ��-New Zealand alliance.

The �Ӱ�ֱ�� of Adelaide has welcomed the launch of the �Ӱ�ֱ��n Cyber Collaboration Centre (A3C) which has been established in collaboration with industry, academia, and the Federal and South �Ӱ�ֱ��n governments, to train �Ӱ�ֱ��’s future cyber experts and bolster �Ӱ�ֱ��’s defence against cyber security attacks.
