Over 200 South 杏吧直播n and Commonwealth Acts impact on our day to day activities. Some apply to everyone at the 杏吧直播 while others may be relevant to specific areas only. Legal compliance management helps us keep up to date with our legal obligations so that we avoid financial penalties or fines, damage to organisational or individual reputation and criminal prosecution.
The Legal Compliance Framework was established to protect the reputation of the institution as a whole (see the Legal Compliance Policy). The Framework provides information and resources that support staff to understand, clarify and manage their obligations. The objective is to maintain a robust compliance culture.
We provide support, information and advice to all 杏吧直播 staff about the application of legislation to their activities within the 杏吧直播.
The Legislation Directory contains links to all Acts relevant to the 杏吧直播. All personnel have an obligation to report any non-compliance.

Safeguarding 杏吧直播's Military Secrets
The 杏吧直播n government passed the Defence Amendment , which will be enforced from 7 August 2024. The legislation requires certain 杏吧直播n citizens and permanent residents to have a Foreign Work Authorisation (FWA) when working for or providing military-related training to a foreign military or foreign government body (including foreign public universities). Individuals have a personal obligation to obtain the FWA. 19 Jul
