We provide a comprehensive level of support to our students and are one of the most student-centric/resourced higher education institutions in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥.
°Õ³ó±ðÌýAdelaide Graduate Research School (AGRS) is responsible for the management and administration of research education at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide.
°Õ³ó±ðÌýResearch Education and Development Committee at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide has responsibility for overseeing all Research by Higher Degree policy development, including the legal responsibility for the award of the degrees of Doctor of Philosophy and Masters by Research.
The Dean of Graduate Studies, through the work of the Adelaide Graduate Research School, monitors the implementation of policies to ensure that all students are provided with a consistent and quality education experience.
Each discipline has its own postgraduate coordinator. The coordinators oversee postgraduate activities and provide assistance, advice and support, where appropriate, in matters such as resolution of grievances, and provision of resources.
 is responsible for the orientation and ongoing support of international students. It works closely with student groups, faculties and ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ administration to ensure the experience of all international students is a positive and successful one.
Initial support services include a Meet and Greet Service (free airport pick-up and transfer to accommodation), temporary accommodation, and an orientation program. Ongoing services include International Student Advisors, academic support, health cover advice, help with student visa matters, peer mentoring, an online newsletter for international students, and social activities.
°Õ³ó±ðÌý°ä²¹°ù±ð±ð°ùÌý³§±ð°ù±¹¾±³¦±ð²õ provides a range of services and events to help students make the most of their qualifications and develop effective career plans. It also markets the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥'s graduates to employers.
Services include careers fairs, employer presentations, employment skills workshops, a resumé checking service, and online and on-campus resource centres. Graduate and vacation job opportunities are advertised on the website.
°Õ³ó±ðÌýCareer and Research Skills Training (CaRST) unit works with the research community at all levels, from commencing PhD students to research leaders, value adding to the research experience, and delivering skills and knowledge essential to research success.
The CaRST unit provides a range of face-to-face workshop programs, online modules and resource materials.
