Mapping Pacific Networks

The Mapping Pacific Networks project is intended to enhance the �Ӱ�ֱ��n Government’s understanding of Solomon Islands and Vanuatu by mapping points of connectivity across each country.��

This research is a collaboration led by the �Ӱ�ֱ�� of Adelaide with a team of researchers based in Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, and �Ӱ�ֱ��.

The research aims to be mutually beneficial and to work with research partners in Solomon Islands and Vanuatu to identify and map relevant points of engagement from national through to community levels on a visual platform. This mapping will aid the �Ӱ�ֱ��n Government to ensure that its engagement is relevant to the context of both countries.

Funding for the research comes from the Defence Innovation Partnership Activator Fund. The is a collaborative initiative between the South �Ӱ�ֱ��n Government, �Ӱ�ֱ��’s civilian defence research agency, the Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG), and South �Ӱ�ֱ��’s three universities: the �Ӱ�ֱ�� of Adelaide, Flinders �Ӱ�ֱ��, and the �Ӱ�ֱ�� of South �Ӱ�ֱ��.

This project will contribute to the establishment and development of a new academic-industry-government partnership in South �Ӱ�ֱ��. This new partnership will provide economic and employment growth in South �Ӱ�ֱ��, and further position South �Ӱ�ֱ�� as a state with expertise in the creation of tools and techniques that enhance our understanding of how to engage more effectively with regional partners.
