Future Fellows

The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Research Council has awarded three ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide academics more than $3 million funding, as part of the 2024 Future Fellowships scheme.  (School of Social Sciences) was awarded $1,130,337,Ìý (Robinson Research Institute) was awarded $1,061,521 and  (School of Biological Sciences) was awarded $1,061,015.

Safeguarding ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s military secrets

The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n government passed the Defence Amendment , which will be enforced from 7 August 2024. The legislation requires certain ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n citizens and permanent residents to have a Foreign Work Authorisation (FWA) when working for or providing military-related training to a foreign military or foreign government body (including foreign public universities). Individuals have a personal obligation to obtain the FWA. Use a Feedback Fruits Peer Review assignment. With FeedbackFruits Peer Review, students annotate and provide feedback on each other’s assignments. This improves students’ assignment skills, as well as their skills at giving, receiving and using constructive feedback. Tuesday 3 September, 3–4 pm. Online.

Creating a flexible, contemporary curriculum for Adelaide ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥

With development of Adelaide ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s first new courses commencing in early August, we will be providing updates to staff about the evolution of our new curriculum over the coming months. In this update, we are focussing on the benefits of stackable degrees, modular courses, and a digitally rich learning environment.

Adelaide ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ pop-up at Waite campus

New Adelaide ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ branded lanyards were provided to staff at the Convention Centre event and will be distributed across our campuses for those who couldn’t attend. A final pop-up for staff to collect their new Adelaide ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ lanyard will be at Beltana Café, Waite campus, 11 am–1 pm this Tuesday 13 August.
