Energy Sector – Environment award
Associate Professor  (School of Chemical Engineering) and his team have won the Energy Sector – Environment award at the Energy and Mining Premier's Awards.
Worldwide finalist: Dr Lulu He
Dr Lulu He (School of Architecture and Civil Engineering) was recently one of six worldwide finalists (and the only one from ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥) for the United Nations Disaster Risk Reduction Rising Star Award.

Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence in Trade and Environment grant
Funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, IIT's Centre of Excellence in Trade and Environment is offering a grant awarded on a competitive basis for research papers exploring the linkages between trade and environment. Grantees will be eligible for a payment of up to $7,500. .
