The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide will be a key partner in a project to build ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s first lunar rover. The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s Exterres Facilities will be used as the testing ground that will expose ‘Roo-ver’ to a simulation of the harsh environment of space.

Extraterrestrial surface simulation lab launches new chapter in space research
Today, Thursday 24 March, the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide launched its new Exterres Laboratory. The lab, which is the first of its kind in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, is an off-Earth surface testing environment for space technology like rovers, which are destined for the furthest reaches of the universe.
