Global recognition for biomedical innovator
    
      Dr Jiawen Li, a biomedical engineer from the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide, has been named in the 2023 global list of by the MIT Technology Review for her work in biomedical engineering. Dr Li is the only recipient of this prestigious global recognition from ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥.

Prestigious awards recognise medical technological innovation
    
      Cutting-edge medical research carried out at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide has been awarded prizes for excellence in the prestigious 2023 ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Museum Eureka Prizes. Two projects won awards for innovative medical imaging techniques to help treat children with cystic fibrosis and for the improved diagnosis of endometriosis using artificial intelligence.

Awards for innovative measurement achievements
    
      ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide researchers have been awarded prizes in this year’s 2023 measurement awards, for their work on portable atomic clocks and cutting-edge techniques for improved ore sampling.

Life-changing medical research funded
    
      More than $3.4 million has been awarded to the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide from the Federal Government's Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF), for two projects that will aim to address the health needs of children and will examine suicide prevention.
