The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n String Quartet is taking to the stage across Europe this month with its first performance at the International String Quartet Biennale in Amsterdam this week.

A partner of the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide, it holds the position of ‘quartet in residence’ at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥.

The ASQ will present three unique programs at the biennale, featuring six works by ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n composers including the world premiere of Nyilamum-song cycles, a First Nations-led work by Yorta Yorta Dja Dja Wurrung, Dr Lou Bennett AM, co-composed with Paul Stanhope

Further engagements in the Netherlands include a reception at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n embassy and an appearance on national Dutch radio.

Following the biennale, the quartet will travel to Italy where they will perform at the iconic Quirinale Palace and at high-profile diplomatic engagements for the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Embassy in Rome and the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Embassy to the Holy See.
