New research to help wineries manage smoke taint

A new project to help ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s winemaking industry understand and respond to the impact of taint from bushfire smoke, which includes research from the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide, has received $950,000 in Cooperative Research Centre Project (CRC-P) funding from the Federal Government.

Maths & numeracy MOOC boost

The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide is partnering with Education Services ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ on a new $9.5 million project to strengthen the capacity of teachers to teach mathematics and numeracy in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n schools. The project will deliver a series of mathematics Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) for teachers and also produce an online mathematics and numeracy resources hub for teachers, parents and students.

the chief investigator on two ARC Discovery Projects, analysing ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n interventions in the Pacific Islands and the operation of the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥-New Zealand alliance.
