AFR awards ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s research commercialisation prowess
As part of its annual Higher Education Awards, the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Financial Review has acknowledged the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide’s industry connections with an award for Research Commercialisation for its work with Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing spin-off company QuantX Labs.

IPAS Members Join New National Centre to Advance Health Sensing Technologies
Professor Mark Hutchinson and Associate Professor Jiawen Li from the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing are playing key roles in the newly announced ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Research Council (ARC) Training Centre for Transformative Health Sensing Technologies (HST Centre), a $5 million initiative led by the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Melbourne. Queensland ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Technology is also a key partner.

IPAS member to Help Transform Environmental Monitoring through New ARC Research Hub
IPAS Director Professor Mark Hutchinson and Associate Professor Jiawen Li from the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide are playing a key role in the newly announced ARC Research Hub for Intelligent Contaminant-Sensing in Complex Environments (IC-SensE Hub), which will revolutionise how ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ monitors its environment.

Professor Kishan Dholakia, Chief Investigator and Deputy Director, and Dr Ralf Mouthaan, Chief Investigator, from the Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing have joined the newly launched $11.7 million ARC Industrial Transformation Research Hub in Responsible AI for a Sustainable Grain Industry.
