Who Do We Support?
Students enrolled at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide with a diagnosed disability, ongoing medical or health condition or who are the carer for a person with a documented disability or health condition, may be eligible for assistance from Disability Support.
We support students with a wide range of disabilities and medical conditions including, but not limited to:
- Specific Learning Disability (e.g. Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia)
 - Autism Spectrum Disorder
 - ADHD/ADD
 - Mental health conditions (e.g. Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia)
 - Medical conditions (e.g. Crohn’s Disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Cancer, Cystic Fibrosis, Diabetes, Irritable Bowel Syndrome)
 - Physical disabilities (e.g. Cerebral Palsy, Arthritis, Paraplegia, Quadriplegia, Muscular Dystrophy)
 - Neurological conditions (e.g. Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy)
 - Sensory impairments (e.g. vision or hearing)
 - Mobility difficulties (e.g. use of mobility aids)
 - Brain injury (e.g. strokes or injuries caused by accidents)
 - Temporary injuries (e.g. fractured limb)
 - Primary Carer
 
We understand that some students don’t identify their condition as a ‘disability’. However, if your health condition is impacting in any way on your studies, we are here to help. Please register online with Disability Support.
