  • Biography/ Background

My undergraduate background in Mathematics and Computer Science was attained from Vietnam National ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, Hochiminh City Brand in 2002. My research career in Applied Mathematics started with a research position in Institute of Applied Mechanics, Vietnamese Academy of Sciences and Technology. I completed Master of Science in Mathematics in Vietnam National ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, Hochiminh City Brand in 2007 and right then I had one-year working as a Research Visitor in Faculty of Engineering, ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Southern Queensland, ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥. I received PhD Scholarship from The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Wollongong, ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, in 2008, and completed my PhD degree in Nanomechanics under supervision of Professor Jim Hill and Professor Natalie Thamwattana in 2012. Moving to Singapore afterwards, I had a great research period in Department of Mechanical Engineering, National ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Singapore from 2012 to 2019, where I participted in multiple interdisciplinary and industrial-related research projects. Moving back ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ in 2019, I had worked in School of Information and Computer Sciences, The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Newcastle, until 2022, and now I am in School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide.
