  • Biography/ Background
    Dr Nadya Baryshnikova joined ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide in 2006 after completing her PhD in Economics from Brown ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ in Providence, RI.

  • Teaching Interests

    Econometrics and Applied Econometrics. I have taught Advanced Econometrics (V), Econometrics (IV), Topics in Applied Econometrics (III and IIID), Advanced Time Series Econometrics (IV) and Introduction to Mathematical Economics (Advanced) I. I have also supervised PhD students, Honours, Masters of Applied Economics and Masters of Economics dissertations.

    I was a Post Graduate Coordinator (Grad Dip., Grad Cert. and Masters coursework programs) in 2009-2011. 

     

     

  • Research Interests

    Theoretical and applied econometrics with the focus on instrumental variables (IV), tests that are robust to weak instruments, generalized empirical likelihood (GEL) and dynamic panel data. I am also interested in microeconomic applications in the fields of development economics, environmental economics, urban economics and health economics.
