  • Biography/ Background

    I am a Learning Designer in the Capability Development Team within Learning Enhancement and Innovation (LEI). In this team I support course design and development, and run workshops focused on learning design and educational technology, including generative AI. Before starting at LEI in 2022 I had a background in teaching, both as a secondary Maths and Science teacher and having taught in the School of Mechanical Engineering.

    I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD completed at the Centre for Automotive Safety Research in 2012. I worked in road safety research at the Centre for a number of years before moving into the field of education.
