  • Biography/ Background

    Chia-Yen (Chad) Chiu is an Associate Professor in Leadership at the Adelaide Business School, the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide. He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources from the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ at Buffalo, the State ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of New York. Before joining the Adelaide Business School, Chad was a faculty member of the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ (ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥) and the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ at Buffalo (US). 

    Chad's primary research interest is developing positive leadership for organisations. He studies a variety of leadership-relevant topics such as leader humility, shared and emergent leadership, and leaders' wellbeing. His work has appeared in multiple top peer-reviewed journals in the field of organisational research (i.e., FT50 and/or A*), including Journal of Applied PsychologyHuman RelationsJournal of Management StudiesHuman Resource ManagementJournal of Organizational Behavior, and Leadership QuarterlyHe currently serves as an Associate Editor of Human Relations (FT50/A*) and on the editorial boards of the Journal of Management (FT50/A*) and Journal of Organizational Behavior (A*).
