Biography/ Background
I was awarded a MPhil degree in 2014 and a PhD in 2019 at the the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide. I received a Bachelor's degree in Medicine from the Capital Medical ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ (Beijing, China) in 1999. I have been working with my supervisor, Prof Helen Marshall, on projects that require complex statistical analyses and have a health economic focus. I had worked in the clinical research area for more than ten years in GlaxoSmithKline (Beijing, China), PPD (Melbourne), CMAX (Adelaide) and CPR (Adelaide).
My research has been focusing on vaccine evaluation, costing analysis and disease burden which require knowledge of different disciplines from epidemiology to health economics to understand research topics from different perspectives. My research programs have ranged widely including face-to-face interviews, discrete choice experiment, health economic (Markov) modelling, etc. Statistical analyses conducted in my research programs have varied markedly from mixed-effects logistic regression to generalised linear models depending on the research questions. My medical, epidemiological, statistical and health economic knowledge enables me to conduct research independently and make outstanding contributions to our research team.
