Biography/ Background
Adam Graycar has had careers in both academia and government. He has held professorial positions at Flinders ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, National ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Singapore, the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n National ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, Rutgers the State ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of New Jersey, and ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of New South Wales. While at ANU he was Director of the Research School of Social Sciences, and the founder of the Transnational Research Institute on Corruption.
He acquired extensive policy experience over 22 years in the various senior level posts he has held in both in the Commonwealth and the South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Governments. He was the longest serving director of the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Institute of Criminology (Commonwealth) and head of the Cabinet Office, government of South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥. He has worked extensively and globally with agencies such as the United Nations and World Bank.
He has two doctorates from the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of NSW. He is the author of some 250 scholarly publications, and is a Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥. He is also a Member of the Order of ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥.
