  • Rat production

    We no longer breed DA or Hooded Wistar rats but they can be sourced from ARC, Perth.

    Rat stock will be available up to 8Ìýweeks old, ratsÌýnot issued at 8 weeks of age will be culled.

    If orders received ahead of time, we will hold rats up to 8 weeks old.

    If rats are required older than 8 weeks, they will either be transferred to the Research Facility holding room,Ìýrequesting campus/institution to be aged there or,Ìýwill incur an extra fee of 50 cents per week.
