Authorship Policy
°Õ³ó±ðÌý requires the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ to have policies to guide researchers in practices that are consistent with the Code.
The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥'s  is designed to ensure compliance with the principles and relevant responsibilities embodied in the Code, and is adopted in the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥'s .
The Policy was first approved by the Vice-Chancellor and President on 14 June 2012, and applies to all staff, students, and titleholders of the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide who are involved in the conduct of research associated with the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥.

Authorship declaration
The Authorship Policy document includes a link to an authorship declaration.
To ensure compliance with the Code, the authorship declaration must be completed by the author of a publication or, where there are multiple authors, by the corresponding author. The Authorship Declaration must be submitted to authors for approval prior to pre-publication and/or the submission of the publication to a publisher.
Where authors are required to sign a formal certification on work submitted to a journal or publication outlet, a copy of that certification may be uploaded as an attachment to the authorship declaration.

Author affiliation & acknowledgement
The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide has developed clear guidelines for researchers to ensure their affiliation is correctly listed, and that appropriate acknowledgement is given for any support provided in undertaking that research.
The guidelines below apply to all academic staff, titleholders, and students whose research publications result from their employment, affiliation, or enrolment with the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥. They apply to all ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ authors, not simply the first-named or corresponding author.
