Levelling up: Derrick McManus

In 1994, then STAR Group officer Derrick McManus was shot 14 times in less than five seconds by a high-risk offender with a semi-automatic rifle.
He lay on the ground bleeding for three hours prior to his rescue. Against all odds, he returned to full duties two and a half years later. In this episode, Derrick, who will facilitate the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s short course later this year, discusses establishing the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Centre for Human Durability and how ‘human durability’ can allow leaders to achieve higher levels of personal and professional success and reduce stress.
