Uni lures top Norman Waterhouse lawyer

Norman Waterhouse legal partner Ms Celine McInerney is moving across town to fill a newly created senior management position at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide.
Ms McInerney, who for the past 18 years has been looking after the business and commercial interests of her private and public sector clients at Norman Waterhouse, will assume the role of Chief Prudential Officer at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥.
"Our loss is the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥'s significant gain, but Celine's move to one of our major clients softens the blow," said Norman Waterhouse senior partner Mr Ted Byrt.
He added that Ms McInerney's knowledge of prudential requirements, her innate ability to identify risk and to lead change, would be of great benefit to the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide.
"This appointment will assist the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ to strengthen its relationship with the business leaders of Adelaide.
"The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide and Norman Waterhouse have enjoyed a close relationship for several years and we are both look forward to this continuing," said Mr Byrt.
Mr Paul Duldig, Executive Director, Finance and Infrastructure at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide, said he was looking forward to Ms McInerney joining his team.
Ms McInerney will continue with her external appointments as a Board member of the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Internet Industry Association and the Adelaide Festival Centre Foundation, and as Governor of the State Theatre Company.
