Dr Charles Pearce promoted to Professor

The Vice-Chancellor Professor James McWha has approved the recommendation that Dr Charles Pearce, Reader in the School of Applied Mathematics, be promoted to Professor (Level E), effective July 2003.
Dr Pearce, a Fellow of the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Mathematical Society since 1995, was awarded the premier ANZIAM Medal by the Society for contributions to Industrial and Applied Mathematics in 2002.
He commenced at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide as a Senior Lecturer in 1971 and promoted to Reader (Level D) in 1982.
