Parkinson's disease focus of Abbie Lecture

Associate Professor in Medicine at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide, Dr James Temlett, will give the Abbie Memorial Lecture tonight (Wednesday).
Dr Temlett's lecture is entitled Advances in Parkinson's disease: molecular mysteries of the brain.
The Abbie Memorial Lecture is one of the most prestigious medical lectures at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide. It is named after Professor Andrew Abbie, who held the positions of Elder Chair of Anatomy, and Associate Dean and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide in the 1940s and 1950s.
Dr Temlett has studied and worked in South Africa, England and ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥. He qualified in Medicine in South Africa, and has studied Parkinson's disease in London and the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Oxford.
