Top government manager appointed to ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥

Adelaide ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ has announced the appointment of Ms Susan MacIntosh as Executive Director, Student and Staff Services, with effect from 22 October. She will replace Mr Ian Creagh, who has taken up a position as Registrar and Secretary at the City ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of London.

An Adelaide ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ graduate, Ms MacIntosh is currently Executive Director, Corporate and Organisational Development, at the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, where she has worked since 1993. Her previous positions in the Department were as Director of Executive Services and Program Coordinator, and Director of the Cabinet Office.

Ms MacIntosh is also a former Director of the Department of Labour and Administrative Services and has held senior positions in the Department of Personnel and Industrial Relations and the South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Health Commission.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Cliff Blake AM, said he was pleased that the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ had attracted a senior administrator of Ms MacIntosh's calibre.

"Her extensive experience in top-level management positions makes her a valuable asset to the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥," he said.

"The Division of Student and Staff Services plays a critically-important role in providing administrative, academic and support services to our 13,000 students and 2,500 staff. These services are essential to support our core activities of learning, teaching and research.

"Ms MacIntosh has the skills and experience to provide strong and purposeful leadership and ensure that the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ stays client-focused and responsive to the needs of students and staff."
