The trade talks are in crisis so what does this mean for ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n business?

will be giving his views on the major trade challenges now facing ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n business at a forum held by the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide's Institute for International Trade on Thursday 3 August.

(until recently the Institute for International Business, Economics and Law), with sponsorship from and other industry bodies, has organised this free event so South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n businesses can hear from Mr Vaile about the state of play in global trade and future trade opportunities.

Institute for International Trade Senior Program Manager Jim Redden said: "International trade continues to be an integral part of ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥'s strong economic performance and as part of the fastest growing region in the world, ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ faces tremendous opportunities - and challenges. With WTO talks in crisis, it is particularly timely that we hear about the major trade challenges facing businesses in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥."

The Institute for International Trade is a ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide centre of expertise on international trade issues. It provides trade research and advice to business and government; runs courses and workshops on trade for developing countries; and runs postgraduate courses on trade and trade-related issues.

"Future Trade Opportunities for ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Business" will be held at 4-6pm on Thursday 3 August at the . The event is free but space is limited and it is essential to book on (08) 8303 6944.
