Applications for Coetzee Centre Writer in Residence Now Open

Applications for the third and final Coetzee Centre Writer in Residence, supported by the Copyright Agency Limited Cultural Fund are now open. This generous six month residency comes with a $30,000 stipend and is open to mid-career South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n writers. For more information, see our flier. Dr Carol Lefevre is the Second Coetzee Centre Writer in Residence

Fiction author . The $30,000 fellowship – funded by the Copyright Agency’s Cultural Fund – will see Dr Lefevre become writer-in-residence for six months, based at the J.M. Coetzee Centre for Creative Practice. Throughout her residency, Dr Lefevre will be working on her new work, an ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n historical novel that follows a travelling circus through the outback during the droughts of the 1890s.
