Commercialising fusion energy technology for the global energy transition

Defence Trailblazer, the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide DualTech-USPL Group and HB11 Energy have signed an $8.2 million collaborative Research Project Agreement to advance the development and commercialisation of hydrogen-boron fusion technology. The project aims to create high-powered laser systems, leveraging the expertise of the DualTech-USPL Group, and establish the first ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n sovereign laser manufacturing capability.

Optofab Adelaide Supports Research with Advanced Manufacturing

The IPAS-hosted seminar on 27 March showcased the capabilities of Optofab Adelaide, a hub of the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n National Fabrication Facility (ANFF). Professor Heike Ebendorff-Heidepriem presented how the facility supports researchers and students with advanced glass, fibre, and surface functionalisation technologies. The event highlighted the importance of acknowledging Optofab and ANFF in publications when using their resources.
