IPAS Students Sweep the 3 Minute Thesis Final at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide
The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide hosted an inspiring 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition Final, where postgraduate students showcased their ability to communicate complex research in just three minutes.
This year, IPAS students delivered a standout performance:

The results were a clean sweep for IPAS. Ané Kritzinger was awarded both the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ Winner and People’s Choice Award, while Sachin Kumar secured the Runner-Up position. Their success highlights not only the strength of IPAS research but also the importance of clear and engaging science communication.
The competition also celebrated excellent presentations from across the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, including Ranjiani Ragotham, Danielle Bailey, Sreshtha Malik, Katelyn Crawford, Cate Cheney, GülÅŸah Yıldırım Kırbacı, and Anilet Nadkarni.
A special thank you goes to the judging panel: A/Prof Richard Young, Dr Lukas Gerstweiler, Dr Kate Sansome, Dr Doreen Krumbiegel, and Prof Laura Parry – and to the Adelaide Graduate Research School, Graduate Research Centre, and Research Tuesdays for hosting such a vibrant event. The evening was expertly guided by MC Mabel Day.
