IPAS Secures Three AEA Ignite Grants for Translational Research

IPAS has been awarded three of the seven ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s Economic Accelerator (AEA) Ignite grants secured by the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide. This success reflects the strength of our research and its potential for real-world application.

The AEA Ignite program supports research with commercial potential, and our awarded projects focus on critical challenges in health, resources, and food safety.

  • Danielle Questiaux – Transforming radioactive mine waste into a new source of cancer treatment radiopharmaceuticals for targeted alpha therapy. ($301,171)

  • Dr. Jillian Moffatt – Using fluorescence sensing to detect lithium ore quality and quantity, supporting ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s critical minerals sector. ($479,406)

  • A/Prof Katharina Richter – Applying plasma-activated water technology to improve food safety in agriculture and food production. ($447,032)

Out of 155 grants awarded nationally, South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ secured 15, and we are proud to contribute significantly to this effort. These projects demonstrate IPAS’s commitment to advancing science and developing practical solutions.ÌýCongratulations to our researchers on this achievement.
